This is my first post from SCS. Life here in SCS is very hectic. Many things going on at the same time, lessons after lessons. In fact, we do lesser physical training than in BMT. I think it's due to the fact that they only pick IPPT passes and above to enter command school. I already have my IPPT silver as mentioned in my previous post so I'm good there. Will be doing my first SOC orientation today evening, and IPPT again tomorrow.
Sports/games day is also happening this Saturday so we can only book out on Saturday. Parents are also invited in on Saturday to visit the accommodation and facilities of SCS. On Monday, I'm finally presented with my specialist cadet rank. There was a parade just for the presentation. Everyone was standing there while our encik wore the cadet rank for us. Specialist cadet also means one step closer to becoming a commander, a sergeant to be exact. Two months later from the day I enter into SCS, I will be getting my professional term vocation. Professional term will be another three months. Eventually ending with a combined term, where all the cadets come back to SCS to rehearse for one final parade. The parade after 6 months will also promote all the cadets to the rank of third sergeant (I hope and think there's another one week break for us ) Life here in SCS is very much different than life in BMT. SCS is ran by cadets. Cadets are given appointments to hold. Our 'platoon sergeant' are actually cadets too. This is to train us to be future leaders and to equip us with skills to command our men. I guess I'll end it here. It's 6.22am right now. And I'm going to do my duties later! With pride, I lead As always, take care and I'll see you soon Comments are closed.
