Its been a week since I watch Beauty And The Beast, and it is great. It feels so much like Frozen to me. Incredible soundtrack, just an awesome in cinema experience. Worth watching just for Emma Watson alone eh? :P I looked around my surroundings while watching the movie and I saw MANY MANY MANY couples watching together. But, I'm just with a friend. Forever alone! :D Moving on... Got myself a copy of Your Name. OST too :)
Alright, that's all for this post As always, take care and I will see you soon! Watching Beauty And The Beast later at GV Suntec after work
Been a long time since I watch movie this regularly, just trying to catch up on my 'movie time' $8.25 per ticket sound like a reasonable price to me. I managed to contact my secondary school MT teacher, and will be meeting her next weekend (I hope). I really miss my secondary school days. Almost a decade! Will update on the movie after I watch it later :) As always, take care and I'll see you soon. In the opening address, Microsoft Singapore's managing director Kevin Wo took the stage to talk about the future of Microsoft, and how Microsoft's solution today is bringing huge revenue for many companies worldwide. Had the opportunity to go to Microsoft Tech Summit. My first developer conference, where Microsoft talked about their advancement in the technology space. Microsoft is heavily pushing Azure as their server host of choice, Xamarin for cross platform development, Visual Studio 2017 (of course) and security.
That's all for tonight, just a quick update As always, take care and I'll see you soon! :) Watched the movie again today. Same feeling, didn't came out feeling more than the first time watching it. Overall I give this movie a good rating, but not as good as I expected it to be. Given the hype, I expect it to be really really touching? Considering the fact that this is a 'Romance' movie.
If you expect this movie to be about romance, then you will be really disappointed. Still, no spoilers for you. Watch it while you still can! As always, take care and I'll see you soon :) Been watching a lot of anime movies lately. Apparently I was late to the whole anime craze that have been going on for quite a while now. I watched Kimi no Na wa. (Your Name.) only a few weeks back and it was amazing. Great soundtrack and beautiful hand drawn environments.
In fact, I can't get enough of its OST and I preordered the CD online even though I can listen to those songs on Spotify :P So on the 9th of March, I watched Koe no Katachi at GV Bishan. The cinema was packed with people. You won't expect that so many people were actually there for a Japanese anime. As for how the movie was, I don't want to provide any spoilers for you. I encourage you to catch the movie soon! UK is getting Koe no Katachi on the 15th March. Just couldn't resist watching it before everyone else in the UK :) Anyone of you browsing my website might have realized that there's a gap at the right of the page while in mobile view. It's a Weebly theme styling bug. Since I do know some CSS, I fixed the problem. Just a short and quick update. As always, take care and I'll see you soon... Got a new speaker system, the Logitech Z623 2.1 THX speakers. My old speaker was having some really nasty noise and I finally decided to change it with a new one. It's about time to retire that 10 years old Altec Lansing VS2421. They sound really good!!
Also, the new DVB-T2 TV box will allow me to watch TV in my room now, in full HD 1080p. Thanks to digital TV broadcast :) With all the input devices connecting to the monitor, a HDMI switch is now needed to control which input gets displayed. Currently using the Vention VAA-S20 HDMI switch. It supports up to 4K 60fps, HDCP (very important for content streaming from devices), HDMI 2.0 (required to support 4K 60fps) and the included remote control can be used to control input switching. The connection from the TV box to the HDMI switch is currently using a extremely long 1M cable, when I actually only need 50cm of cable length. A new HDMI 2.0 cable (50cm) will soon replace that. Setup looks good and I think it can't get any better than this, other than a new laptop. For my workload of watching YouTube videos, casual gaming, and programming work, this is sufficient. Will be going to Microsoft Tech Summit @ MBS next week, more to come on that. Oh, before I forget. Happy 20th Anniversary to Visual Studio! Amazing IDE Alright, that's all for now! As always, take care and I'll see you soon! |
