Today's book in marks the start of my BMT (Basic Military Training) phase. 2 more months to POP. Will be inviting my friends to join me at my POP parade! Been so busy this week, so much things to do, and so less time. I also received the bluetooth wireless earphone that I ordered about a week ago! The wireless bluetooth implementation of the earphone is perfect for me. Lose the cord without losing the quality music and sound. The only problem with these is that I find it hard to get a good fit on these. To remedy the problem, I've already ordered a set of Comply Foam Tips to go with this new earphone. To test how these earphone work in real life situation and condition, I brought these out yesterday. Went shopping, talking on the phone, and listening to music. Need some time to get used to the feeling of not needing to 'avoid' the cord. It is a good experience overall. I can also leave my phone in my room and walk out to the living room, all without losing a beat. It also support NFC pairing. I've easily paired my Nexus 7 without my earphone without any issue. A prompt appear on the screen when I tapped my headphone NFC area to my Nexus 7, asking whether to continue pairing. Tap 'Yes' and it's all connected and ready to go! Relatively good range with these on Bluetooth 4.0 Been talking on the phone so much these days, I'm almost exceeding my 100 minutes voice outgoing plan, currently at 83 minutes. Not to mention that I'm also exceeding my data plan, currently sitting at 1.81GB. Will have to live without data this week! :( To my friends out there, please SMS me. Do not Whatsapp!!! That's unless you know my other number... LOL! On the top right hand corner of my phone, I can see the battery meter for my Bluetooth earphone. The earphone will also alert me in the event the battery goes low. Android, sadly, does not offer a battery indicator for my earphone. I guess that is an operating system issue, and not my earphone. On a full charge, the earphone can go for around 5 hours. 5 hours of constant non-stop music. The magnetic power saving mode feature also made it easy for me to turn the earphone off and put it in standby mode, hanging around my neck. If I receive a phone call, I can just simply wear the earphone and the earphone will automatically connect to my phone in one second and answer the call. Siri is also supported, so asking for the weather when I'm walking about in the living room without my phone is now possible. At first, I was worried that the cable might break/wear over time, but it's good to know that the cable is Kevlar enhanced. This week's training had been hard, really hard. Finally managed to pass my 2.4km run! MUAHAHAHAHAHA! Field camp is coming up next, and will be spending 5 days (I think?) in the jungle... After field camp and some live firing, it should be near my POP already. One thing that most people don't know is that, recruits spend a lot of time rehearsing for POP before the actual thing really happen. Time files, and it is already August! Oh, and Happy National Day. I also celebrated the Nation's birthday with the SAF NDP Observance parade. A lot of new recruits are in camp now, they are the enhanced batch who managed to skip through PTP and go straight to BMT Further optimization of my laptop, brings even more performance with the SSD. I finally decided to enable RAPID mode of my SSD. I also managed to move my browser cache outside of my SSD storage. This is to make sure that there isn't any unnecessary writes made to my SSD impacting the lifespan of my SSD. As I'm constantly watching 1080p videos on YouTube, it caused significant amount of read/write on my SSD. Now onto my website. Weebly made some major improvements and are building new features for their users. I will definitely be implementing those new features as soon as they become stable and available, and I'm currently testing them. I also want to take the time to mention that my website is getting much more visitors than before. I'm getting quite a lot of feedback on posts regarding Micromon, even videos on YouTube. I will try to spend some time to see what I can do about it. Majority of the visitors came to my website because of Micromon! The visitor count depicted in the image above might seem like I'm getting quite a lot less visitors today, but actually it is just not updated. Apa Kabar? See you next week, signing off @ 6.31pm
As always, take care and I'll see you soon! Comments are closed.
