Received the 2600mAh external battery that I ordered from eBay from $2.99!!
Turns out the battery is just enclosed in a metal casing. Revealing the internal battery parts number of 18650-A. A little research points the battery at being technically 3.7V, Wikipedia states that the battery is most commonly used for laptop batteries. It is only a single piece of battery connected to a voltage amplifier to push it up to 5V for charging mobile devices. Micro-USB cable included as well!
A little math here:
(3.7V x 2600mAh) / 5V = 1924mAh
Conversion loss about 20% > 1924mAh - 20% = 1539.2mAh
Battery specification from eBay:
Input: DC 5V 500mA (Suggesting that it is better charged using computer USB)
Output: DC 5.5V 800mA
iPhone power input = 1A x 5V = 5W
Battery power output = 0.8A x 5.5V = 4.4W (Technically not enough power)
iPhone 5 battery capacity is at 1440mAh, therefore I should expect 1 full charge from the external battery. Considering the price at $2.99, it is really hard to beat! I've heard that those 20000mAh and 30000mAh battery contains sand instead of real battery. I should be glad that mine got no sand involved. LOL

Red indicator LED while charging, white/light blue indicator LED when full, No LED indication while charging devices though...
UPDATE
The battery didn't even manage to charge my iPhone 5 once. It charged it from 17% to 95%, which was disappointing. I thought it was able to at least give it one full charge. It's either that the battery capacity is fake, or the conversion ratio is lower than 80%... But it is something to note if you buy batteries that are non-branded.

Got my each-a-cup after dinner!
Went with bro to eat dinner at the nearby CC (opposite Bukit Panjang Plaza)
FaceTime over LTE was fun, and interesting... Normally, I only use FaceTime while on WiFi, this is one of the few times when I actually FaceTime over cellular (For fun).
Playing with AirPlay to stream media over WiFi network at home. It doesn't work too well once I stream content over 720p HD. I have no idea what's wrong, maybe QoS settings?

It is 2:35am right now and I'm typing out this blog post. I've yet to receive my pouch for my 10400mAh Yoobao external charger (This is a real power beast). Recently, my Nexus 7 had been working very smoothly without a hitch. I'm happy with my Nexus 7 running franco. kernel w/ updater, Nova launcher Prime, & Greenify beta.
Goodnight everyone, signing off 2:38am
As always, take care and I'll see you soon ^_^
