Speaking about technology, iOS 7 just got unveiled by Apple today. It was stunning, even myself couldn't believe that Apple would bring such a big change to iOS. Can't wait to get my hands on the new iOS 7!!

Where's the other half? Keychain boy is lonely...
Mum made quite a lot of dumplings today. I can almost say that I only ate dumplings today, OMG! I have some KFC Groupons that Dad bought. I think I should be going for some KFC tomorrow, instead of dumplings AGAIN
Today was boring as usual, stayed at home the entire day. I still didn't bank in my cheque. Now then I realize how difficult it is to deposit a cheque when there aren't banks nearby. I'm rather unproductive this holiday. Next up, I hope I can buy the season pass for USS so I can visit them all the way till November 30. It's only 88 dollars, so why not?
Woke up having bad headache, maybe it is because I didn't sleep early these few days. Spent quite a lot of time improving the mobile experience for this web blog. I guess everything is working nicely right now.
I dismantled my 2600mAh battery again and discovered something risky. Basically, every battery got its '+' and '-' leads isn't it? The supposedly '-' side of the battery is connected to the top of the battery's circuit board via a thin strip of metal contact. It was taped down to prevent the contact from touching the metal casing. From what I see, the taping job isn't done so well. After some use, it might possibly touch the metal casing causing a short circuit. I manually used my own tape to tape it nicely, so to make sure that it 100% won't touch the metal casing.
Trying Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum on my laptop... Hopefully it is nice compared to the 1st iteration of Roller Coaster Tycoon. Yeah, my life is boring. I'm awaiting the release of iOS 7! Can't wait to try it out...

Received the 2600mAh external battery that I ordered from eBay from $2.99!!
Turns out the battery is just enclosed in a metal casing. Revealing the internal battery parts number of 18650-A. A little research points the battery at being technically 3.7V, Wikipedia states that the battery is most commonly used for laptop batteries. It is only a single piece of battery connected to a voltage amplifier to push it up to 5V for charging mobile devices. Micro-USB cable included as well!
A little math here:
(3.7V x 2600mAh) / 5V = 1924mAh
Conversion loss about 20% > 1924mAh - 20% = 1539.2mAh
Battery specification from eBay:
Input: DC 5V 500mA (Suggesting that it is better charged using computer USB)
Output: DC 5.5V 800mA
iPhone power input = 1A x 5V = 5W
Battery power output = 0.8A x 5.5V = 4.4W (Technically not enough power)
iPhone 5 battery capacity is at 1440mAh, therefore I should expect 1 full charge from the external battery. Considering the price at $2.99, it is really hard to beat! I've heard that those 20000mAh and 30000mAh battery contains sand instead of real battery. I should be glad that mine got no sand involved. LOL

MST have ended, and my FYP's first assessment was completed today. The presentation was only given 10 minutes. I guess this is what many of us say "台上十分钟，台下十年功". My group spent a lot of time making the PowerPoint detailed and as smooth flowing as possible. I don't think it is time for me to reveal anything about my project here. I would if the time is right... hopefully soon :)

I heard West Mall's Koufu went on fire yesterday evening and all customers were asked to evacuate?

Lab test went relatively well and I got full marks for one of them. MST starting next week though.

P!nk - Just Give Me A Reason
Going out with parents to a temple in BB later on for Vesak Day, then maybe IMM for Baystreet 21? :P The usual Vesak Day stuffs that my family also do every year. Listening to 'Just Give Me A Reason' by P!nk and so I've uploaded a copy of the mp3 above. Been listening to many songs in detail these days, then found some of them to be quite meaningful. Those songs had been sitting in my music library all the while.
Oh ya, before I forget. I got in to the preview of the new Google Maps. They sent me an email to bring me to the new Google Maps, then gave me a tour on the new features. Looks real good, if only Apple one is better...

Wow, negative time in Riptide GP on the new Google Play Game services
It had been long since I posted anything interesting here on my blog. Partly because I'm having a lot going on in my life these few days. I'm having my MST next week and having 2 Lab tests tomorrow.
I'm also trying very hard to move back to normal sleeping schedules, so I've been sleeping early (kinda) these few days.

I had blood coming out of my mouth again! I really don't know what's wrong with me. Is it because of my teeth? or there's really something wrong with me? From now onwards, I want to sleep properly (at the usual timing) and eat properly. Hopefully everything would go away once all these went back to their correct routine.
Timetable for MST is OUT and it is a heavy one for me. Considering that I still have to deal with my EM2B, I need to put in more effort in EM2B to be able to pass it. I will be doing the EM2B e-learning 3% assignment later on and touching a bit on FYP Presentation due on Friday next week. Lots of work coming right up! I need to bulk up for my assignments and MST. Maybe after MST can slack a bit?

Just completed my e-learning quiz for EM2B! Only got 87.5%, so sad :( I've spent more than 2 hrs trying those questions 3 times, but still... Looks like I really got no talent for Mathematics and I'm not giving up just yet. All the best to me
