Will be staying awake the entire night here in camp. I'm now having my snacks. Some things happened and I don't think I want to mention in my post. More than 8 hours of free time, without knowing what to do yet.
Will be back at midnight! As always, take care and I'll see you soon... Quick post before I sleep for the day. Basically, yesterday night was happening. Entire platoon's phone got confiscated because some people just cannot stop texting and using their phone. Haha. Just got back my phone and showered. We had briefing for the Thursday event. That explains the insufficient admin time that I have today. This week is quite happening in my company. Will find more time to post more about the event tomorrow night :P * HINT * As always, take care and I'll see you soon.
Today is BMTC Safety Day! And guess what, we didn't do anything for the entire day at all. It was just pure sleeping and we got so bored that we used the SAF issued tablet to do some E Learning online. Xiaomi released Mi4 today. It was a disappointment as I thought it would be better. I already got a spare phone for now, so I'm not going out for another phone yet Tomorrow is IPPT, and I hope I pass! Good luck to me. We also started our SOC (Standard Obstacles Course) training. Went through 5 of the stations. I thought it was pretty easy, and we are supposed to complete it within 6 minutes. Today was extremely happening and it was fun. Got a lot of time to chat with my section mates. We had a lot of jokes that we laughed very hard at ^_^ I also want to thank my buddy who have always been there for me ever since we became buddies :D
As always, take care and I'll see you soon! Nearly late for the bus at PRBI. Those who were late got their '4D' number recorded by the commanders. There should be punishment waiting for them after we're back in camp. Should post something here on Thursday As always, take care and I'll see you soon!
Just had dinner at Pizza Hut
Total ordered:
Om nom... Then went to NTUC to buy some things to bring into camp. Sometimes I feel bad because I'm always the one who need to go NTUC to buy stuff, then the others have to wait... I almost forgot that I have a very interesting 'event' with my buddy in camp on Thursday. It is only 7 of us from the entire platoon. We were lucky to be selected for the 'event'. Will post more about it on Thursday... Booking into camp tomorrow! As always, take care and I'll see you soon... Test conducted using Samsung Magician Software Read: 546MB/s Write: 522MB/s With RAPID technology enabled: RAPID technology uses RAM as a cache. Considering RAM is super fast, and together with the SSD, brings incredible speed Read: 6390MB/s Write: 4885MB/s Startup time from laptop button press (including the Fujitsu logo boot screen) to desktop: 11 seconds Startup time from laptop (removing the time taken for Fujitsu logo boot screen) to desktop: < 8 seconds Speed ~ 10x faster than my HDD Once the laptop is booted up, and the desktop is shown. I can immediately click any application to have it open almost instantly. I've tried it with Chrome, My Computer (ultra fast < 0.5 second) and Steam Laptop also have a 640GB HDD (It is internal HDD, just in case you are wondering) Means the entire laptop can be carried around without any additional bulk or wires Recorded based on Windows 8.1 x64 Update 1 with Microsoft Office installed Microsoft Office took less than a minute to install. I tried copying a 800MB file around my SSD, was able to copy it instantly without the Copy dialog showing Windows able to start up without the loading wheel (It is just too fast for the loading wheel to show) Incredibly impressed with the performance of the SSD
I'm WORRIED, for YOU... but why? Are my worries unnecessary? Signing off @ 4:21AM, edited @ 11:33AM
As always, take care and I'll see you soon :) |
